Senior Account Manager
Our client is looking to hire an experienced account manager with a background in Logistics/Warehousing/Supply chain and a working knowledge of warehouse operations.
This person will be responsible for the development and execution of growth strategies based on company targets and objectives across existing accounts (so the role is 100% account management, not new business development). The role focuses on driving new revenue opportunities whilst building and sustaining current client and long-term customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the existing Client Services & Professional Services teams to identify and own new service and revenue possibilities with existing clients.
- Contribute to product development by bringing insight and understanding of developments and trends in the market, as well as current and future customer demands.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Monitor progress against targets through report generation and analyse new revenue data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate on marketing content to increase brand awareness and drive-up inter client referrals.

Skills and experience required
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar client facing role in a Logistics/Warehousing or Supply Chain role
- Working knowledge of Warehouse Operations
- Results-driven attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Confident using sales management software and tools.
Desirable
- Experience with WMS and/or Saas
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
There may be occasional travel within the UK and possibly overseas, but for the most part this is a home based role. For the purposes of occasional team meetings we would like this person to be based within either the Midlands or Southern England.
Salary: up to £50k per annum plus objective driven bonus (max 15% of salary) + benefits.
