Our client is seeking to recruit a Salesforce Administrator into their IT Projects team who will manage their Salesforce platform both from a day-to-day administration perspective as well as project related changes.  This is a hybrid role, mainly home based, but with travel to Birmingham approximately once a week.

Abilities and skills:

  • At least 12 months in a Salesforce administrator position
  • An understanding of how the Salesforce Database works
  • Familiar with flows and Lightning page layouts
  • Experience of either Salesforce Sales or Service cloud
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
  • A solid understanding of data and relational databases
  • Strong change governance skills
  • Able to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Ability to use the full Microsoft Productivity suite

i.e. Office 365 etc

What you’ll be doing:

You will be the primary Salesforce Administrator in the business and be working within the Projects team to deliver changes to the Salesforce platform either via a Project or a change control route as well as general system administration tasks.

 

You will be carrying out general administration tasks such as user management, data management, security controls as well as basic system customisations.

 

You will also be working closely with the BA’s to understand requirements, suggest solutions and ultimately build the solutions within the required timescales. If the solution is sufficiently complex you will be working with our 3rd party Salesforce development partner to configure and implement the change.

 

You will also be working Salesforce to understand any upcoming feature changes or retirements to ensure continuity of our platform as well as understand how any unused features can be used to enhance our platform.

You’ll be responsible for:

You will be ultimately responsible for the administration and continued improvements of our Salesforce Environment including but not just limited to:

  • Administration and maintenance of the Salesforce platform, including user management, data management, security settings, and customisation
  • Configure and customise salesforce objects, fields, layouts, and process automation using tools such as Flow
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards
  • Perform data analysis, data cleansing, and data migration tasks to ensure data accuracy

and integrity

  • Stay up to date with salesforce updates, best practices, and industry trends to propose and implement system enhancements
  • Managing Sandbox environments and the transfer of Change from Sandbox into Live

 

You will also be responsible for managing changes which are being managed through our 3rd party Salesforce development company.

What you’ll bring to the team:

You will be a self-motivated administrator with prior Salesforce administration experience who is comfortable working in a project environment as well as independently when required.

You will be a strong communicator who can clearly articulate the existing processes and is not afraid to challenge the current processes if there is a better way of doing them.

You will have strong problem-solving skills to work within the Project Team to translate requirements and turn them into technical solutions.

You will be passionate about Salesforce with a desire to learn new functionality and how it can be implemented to Bryt to improve our systems as well as keeping up to date with the latest Salesforce changes.

You will have a keen eye for data security and data retention.
